Dromex shows its commitment to PPE
Dromex will be demonstrating its commitment to the personal protective equipment (PPE) category by sponsoring various areas within the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Expo Africa 2014 exhibition.
Some of the areas Dromex will be sponsoring include the registration of delegates, as well as the banners, walls and the arch leading into the main entrance. It will also be supplying bags and lanyards for delegates. In addition to the sponsorships, the company will be exhibiting its full range of PPE products.
Dromex says that there will be particular emphasis given to its unique selection of gloves, including the international Taeki range with cut level-five options. The highly popular, cost-effective Unifit respiratory systems and its expanded range of top-quality workwear, eyewear, hearing and footwear ranges will also be on display.
From being a supplier of marine-based products to ship chandlers, Dromex has grown into a major supplier of PPE and related products. According to the company, its warehouse capacity stands at 23 000 m². It features state-of-the-art receiving and dispatch facilities to go with the extensive showroom, at its New Germany premises in Durban.
“This capacity allows the inventory model to be sustained, which means that our loyal group of large and medium distributors are able to source and deliver the more popular, high-demand stock within two to three days,” explains Dromex.
The Dromex team is available to provide advice and training, including technical back-up. As part of its commitment to its customers, the company has added a fully kitted-out showroom and training centre to its sales office in Bedfordview, Johannesburg.
