CAIA’s new recruits

The Chemical and Allied Industries’ Association (CAIA) has appointed Dr. Mlu Ganto and Amon Nyamhingura to the positions of head: regulatory affairs at the CAIA and Responsible Care Manager at the CAIA, respectively.

Both men took up their positions on August 1.

Ganto holds a doctorate in chemistry, and his previous positions include that of candidate attorney at Adams & Adams Patents Department, researcher at the CSIR Biosciences Unit, and post-doctoral research fellow at ICS-UNIDO in Trieste, Italy.

Nyamhingura holds an MSc in chemistry and will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the CAIA’s Responsible Care initiative in South Africa.
