SpiderWebb at OSH EXPO 2012
OSH EXPO Africa returns to Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from June 19 to 21 this year with a new partner – SpiderWebb, a leading manufacturer of high quality equipment for the prevention of falls.
The SpiderWebb Working-at-Height Theatre and Demonstration Zone will offer visitors a free interactive seminar and live demonstrations from 11:00 to 15:00 daily.
“We’re delighted to have SpiderWebb on board,” says Ross Cullingworth, commercial events director at UBM Montgomery. “Visitors can come and learn more about the prevention of falls, rescue equipment and working in confined spaces, as well as flat and endless round slings for the lifting industry.”
Cullingworth says the expo as a whole will give visitors access to all the resources they need to be more compliant. “Occupational safety and health standards play a major role in driving profits, employee motivation and company image. They represent a solid investment.”
The expo is aimed at health and safety managers and consultants to business owners, operators, distributors, specialists and emergency services professionals. It will present everything from PPE, occupational health services, safety signs and posters, noise prevention and fall arrest equipment to training, software, lifting and handling equipment, even health and safety consultancies.
It will again be co-located with the IFSEC South Africa security exhibition and the second annual Facilities Show Africa – and McNaughton and Associates will be presenting the NOSHEBO Conference and Exhibition concurrently with the event, at the same venue on the same dates.
“The result of the two brands working together promises to deliver a more focused marketing and network event,” says Cullingworth.
