Saiosh – leading professional health and safety body
Hundreds of delegates visited the Saiosh exhibition stand during Noshcon 2015 to find out more about the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) Professional Health and Safety Registration process and the professional designations offered by Saiosh.
The South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health’s (Saiosh’s) stand was abuzz with activity. Delegates took the opportunity to take part in the Saiosh Facebook “selfie� competition and to stand a chance to win a 32-inch LED TV.
Members also checked their status and were shown how to update their profiles, as well as the easy uploading process of their continued professional development (CPD) credits.
Saiosh is recognised by SAQA as a professional body to register occupational health and safety professionals in South Africa. It was established on February 11, 2010, by a group of enthusiastic occupational health and safety professionals from South Africa.
Saiosh is committed to the upgrading of the professional skills of its members by keeping them updated and informed on the latest developments in the field of occupational health and safety. Saiosh does this by offering members the following benefits:
