OSH EXPO Africa returns

OSH EXPO Africa returns

OSH EXPO Africa 2012 is on! Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event – which attracted well over 2 000 occupational health and safety professionals – comes confirmation of the second annual Occupational, Health and Safety Expo Africa.

The event takes place from June 19 to 21 this year, and will again be held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Gauteng.

The show is the perfect meeting place for anyone and everyone involved in the profession – from health and safety managers and consultants to business owners, operators and distributors, OSH and SHEQ specialists, HR managers and emergency services professionals.

It will again feature the most well-respected local and international suppliers of related products and services – including personal protective equipment, occupational health services, safety signs and posters, noise prevention products, fall-arrest/working-at-height equipment, training, software, lifting and handling equipment, and health and safety consultancies.

Organised by UBM Montgomery, OSH EXPO Africa 2012 will again be co-located with Africa’s definitive security exhibition, IFSEC South Africa, as well as the newly launched FACILITIES SHOW Africa, which also made its debut in 2011.

Ross Cullingworth, commercial events director at Montgomery Africa, points out that occupational health and safety is a growing sector that affects every organisation. “Many companies face massive fines for non-compliance, while others struggle to keep abreast of changing legislation. In addition to a wide range of innovative product providers, the educational component of OSH EXPO Africa provides the perfect platform for occupational health and safety professionals to learn more about changing trends and legislation.”
