Noshcon rocks for IsoMetrix
Metrix doesn’t just play in the SHEQ arena; its product IsoMetrix is a governance, risk and compliance (GRC) application catering for disciplines such as SHEQ, sustainability, enterprise risk, compliance, and health management. That’s the message that the company wanted to communicate at Noshcon 2013. And, by the time that this event closed its doors, it was a case of “mission achieved”.
According to Paul de Kock, managing director of Metrix, the company’s amazingly flexible management software IsoMetrix was extremely well received at Noshcon. “We have created an agile application framework, which means it offers much more than point solutions. Our competitors’ products, on the other hand, are predefined to deal with just some components of GRC,” he explains.
Practically, this means that Metrix has created a super-agile software framework that can be configured exactly according to its clients’ specific requirements. “This is not a one-size-fits-all product; we provide our customers with best practice GRC functionality that can be moulded to their needs. What we do is unique worldwide; no other software can evolve with a company’s changing needs this easily, bringing down the total cost of ownership without sacrificing quality or functionality,” De Kock reveals.
And, by all accounts, delegates were impressed with this proposition. The IsoMetrix team, on the other hand, was impressed with the actual event.
“More decision makers attended this year’s event. The leads which we gained from the conference are very promising,” notes Steve Simmonds, executive head of business development at Metrix, a veteran Noshcon exhibitor. “There was a higher level of international representation with delegates from as far afield as China and the United Kingdom.”
It was the first Noshcon for Craig Fulford, senior executive: new business development, and he was impressed at the seniority of delegates. “The majority of delegates were looking at risk in its entirety, with health, safety and environmental issues being just a part of it. The focus was not just on point solutions,” he comments.
This was most apt for the IsoMetrix team. “We wanted to promote our new sustainability suite, as well as the fact that we provide a system that covers compliance, enterprise risk, health, safety, the environment, healthcare, wellness and resettlement – all in a cost-effective manner,” says De Kock.
Judging by his enthusiasm, this was achieved. “IsoMetrix will definitely return to Noshcon 2014!” concludes De Kock.
