NOSHCON big success for Lancet

The recent Noshcon conference was a resounding success for pathology laboratory Lancet.
It was the phrase “snakes for safety” that grabbed attention at the conference, with visitors questioning how snakes and safety could be mentioned in the same sentence?
“Visitors to our stand were pleasantly surprised at how snakes were used to demonstrate hazards in the workplace. This was just one of the many interesting elements of the three-day conference, which was thoroughly enjoyed by delegates and exhibitors alike. Our stand was well attended and we made many valuable contacts,” says Ansie Erasmus, marketing officer of Lancet. The conference took place at the picturesque Champagne Sports Resort in the Drakensberg.
Lancet is one of the leading pathology laboratories operating in Africa and is committed to providing diagnostic excellence. It is also SANAS-accredited and adheres to international criteria set out by ISO Standard 17025.
The company offers a comprehensive service to SHEQ officers in the industry, including biological monitoring, risk assessment and toxicology tests. There is a rapid turnaround on test results.
According to Erasmus, Lancet is well represented at corporate wellness days, offering blood pressure testing, rapid cholesterol and glucose testing, as well as counselling. It also has a comprehensive HIV testing programme that includes monitoring of treatment, therapeutic drug monitoring and genotyping.
