The KwaZulu-Natal Industrial Technology Exhibition (KITE) is only weeks away! More than 120 exhibitors will descend on the Durban Exhibition Centre from July 26 to 28 to view a line-up of new and updated technologies for all industrial sectors in the province.

With a history spanning more than 36 years, KITE has been the launchpad for a number of best practice technologies over the years and has provided a diverse market with a multitude of solutions. The exhibition is characterised by its interactive nature, with ongoing demonstrations providing a completely simulated real-life experience for visitors.

Some notable exhibitors include:

  • IMSM, which delivers high-quality ISO consultancy services and standards to organisations of all sizes, from all sectors, all over the world.
  • HASS Industrial, which supplies custom-made hearing protection devices and hearing conservation management programmes and is the exclusive developer and manufacturer of the Noise-Ban product range with ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.
  • RS Components, which will highlight its Private Label business with the launch of the new RS Pro brand.
  • Loadtech, whose Model LT200 load cell and LT2006 EZEE-MOUNT load cell will take centre stage on the company’s stand.

This year’s event includes the addition of the Propak Africa Pavilion and other visitor attractions, geared around maximising visitors’ time at the show. These attractions include the free-to-attend SAIMechE Seminar Theatre, the MESA (Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association) special interest group and the Lifting Equipment Association of South Africa (LEEASA) conference.

“We urge visitors to register to attend KITE. This substantially reduces the time one stands in queues, leaving you with more time to enjoy the exhibitors’ offerings, competitions and other visitor attractions on site,” says Charlene Hefer, portfolio director at Specialised Exhibitions.
