BBF Safety Group honours top-achieving distributors

At its recent year-end celebration, the BBF Safety Group leadership team set the agenda for a 2018 characterised by growth, diversification and a bullish outlook on the workplace safety market.

The group also recognised and rewarded its top-achieving distributors through an awards ceremony. Awards were presented in four categories, honouring the distributors that who did well in 2017.

This included the Major Award which was presented to Select PPE, the distributor that achieved the highest combined turnover on BBF Safety Group brands within the calendar year, across all regions.

The Lieutenant Award was presented to the distributors who achieved the highest combined turnover on BBF brands in the calendar year, within their respective regions:

• KwaZulu-Natal: FTS Safety Group
• Eastern Cape: Vanguard Fire and Safety
• Western Cape: Pienaar Bros. South
• Inland North: Pienaar Bros. North
• Inland East: Cattel’s Industrial Footwear
• Inland Central: Halsted and Co.
• Inland West: Moostart

The Brand Captain Award was presented to the distributors who achieved the highest volume sales for an individual BBF Safety brand within the calendar year, amongst all regions.

• Bova: Select PPE
• Frams: Pienaar Bros. North
• Lemaitre: Cattell’s Industrial Footwear
• Sisi: Cattell’s Industrial Footwear
• Wayne: Select PPE

The Export Distributor of the Year award went to Deekay.

The Customer Service Department (CSD) Consultant of the Year award was presented to a CSD member of the BBF Safety Group who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide outstanding customer service, as rated by both customers and staff. Tthis award was presented to Natasja Strydom.
