BBF acquisition of Quality Safety

BBF Safety Group has announced the acquisition of Quality Safety, a local manufacturer of general and personal protective equipment (PPE).

“This strategic acquisition marks another significant milestone on our journey to becoming a leading workplace safety solutions provider, which will enable us to better serve our customers and the markets in which we operate,” says Wolfgang Beier, executive chairman.

“I would like to assure all customers that business will continue as usual and that the same dedicated Quality Safety employees you work with today will be here tomorrow,” he says.

Quality Safety, under the leadership of Brian Bland, has built a good reputation over the past three decades and it is this that the BBF Safety Group wishes to nurture and expand into the future.

“The acquisition has a number of regulatory conditions that need to be met, which we shall be attending to over the course of the coming weeks,” Beier adds.

“The acquisition of Quality Safety serves to further enhance and entrench our position as a deep-rooted South African group of companies, whose vision it is to be a leader in the fields of transformation, entrepreneurial development and localisation,” he adds.
