Airports Company South Africa scoops five awards
Airports Company South Africa will be accepting five Airports Council International (ACI) awards this year for excellence in customer service, as recognised by passengers.
The airports have taken top positions in their categories in the prestigious 2013 ACI Airport Service Quality Awards (ASQ).
“As a company, we continuously strive to improve our customer service by ensuring our airports meet passengers’ needs unreservedly,” says Bongani Maseko, Airports Company South Africa’s managing director.
Best Airport by Region was awarded to Cape Town International Airport. King Shaka International Airport took second place and O.R. Tambo International Airport took fifth place. Upington International Airport came first in the Best Small Airport category and East London Airport won Best Improvement.
The 2014 ASQ Awards Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 14 in Seoul, South Korea, during the ACI Asia-Pacific/World Annual Congress and Exhibition.
