A-OSH’s out – stand – ing award winners announced
Exhibitors at the seventh official A-OSH EXPO, Africa’s leading occupational safety and health exhibition, were applauded for their eye-catching stands at the official show awards function on the evening of June 1.
The expo was co-located with respected security and fire exhibition Securex South Africa, and ran for three days over May 30 to June 1 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg.
Joshua Low, organiser Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery’s A-OSH EXPO event director, thanked the sponsors, including BBF Safety Group, Dromex, Health|Insite, PASMA, Ansell and Select PPE, and expressed gratitude to the 80 exhibitors who showed great commitment to this year’s expo.
“In addition, we were particularly pleased to host Saiosh’s 7th annual International OHS Conference, which ran alongside A-OSH EXPO and was completely sold out,” he explained.
The independently judged exhibitor awards event took place at the Gallagher Grill, where Low and Zelda Jordaan, exhibition manager, handed out 2017 exhibitor awards for the following categories – stands of 12m2 or less, 15 to 18 m2, and stands larger than 21 m2.
The winners were:
· Stands of 12m2: winner – Astutis, runner-up – Phoenix Health and Safety.
· Stands of 15 to 18 m2: winner – Skills Resource Group, runner up – Pienaar Bros.
· Stands of 21 m2 and larger: winner (for the second year running) 3M South Africa, runner-up Dromex.
“Congratulations to all of our winners: your support of A-OSH EXPO 2017 was outstanding and contributed greatly to what has been an exceptionally successful show,” said Low.
