A masterclass for professionals

A masterclass for OHS professionals

Advantage Act will be providing occupational health and safety (OHS) professionals with a non-financial auditing masterclass to improve their organisations’ quality, environment and OHS system functionality.

This masterclass aims to provide thought, awareness and understanding about “new and old” non-financial auditing methods and techniques.

The two-day course will be facilitated by Arend Hoogervorst, an environmental scientist and auditor with more than 20 years of experience. He will share ideas, interpretations and explanations he has developed over his long career in non-financial auditing.

The practical aspects of successful auditing will be covered, including hints and tips to make auditing easier and more productive.

A rare look into the psychology of auditing will also be explored, with opportunities for participants to discuss what worked (or didn’t) when conducting audits.

The masterclass will be held at the Mokoya Lodge outside Hartbeesfontein on Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25. The cost per person is R12 750, which includes one night’s accommodation and all meals throughout the course.
